Madhya Pradesh is situated in the heart of India. It is also known as ‘MP’.Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh.The State has a population of 8,21,93,000 people.The Language in Madhya Pradesh is Hindi.There are 51 districts in the State. The Christian Population is 0.30% of the total population.

Madhya Pradesh came into being on 1 November 1956. It was reorganized on 1 November 2000 to create a new Chhattisgarh state. The successive state, now, is bounded on the north by Uttar Pradesh, east by Chhattisgarh, south by Maharashtra and west by Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Agriculture is the mainstay of State’s economy as 74.73 % of the people are rural. As much as 49 % of the land area is cultivable.
